With 3 kids on the spectrum, finding ways to destress is a necessity in my life. So far what has been successful for me is meditation. I also practice the art of re-direction, in other words, find someone to watch my kids and go! Fortunately as I and my children have grown together, the greatest skill I have developed is just letting things go. Things don't always have to be perfect, we don't always have to make that appointment and if I'm late so be it, the world will not end. Does anyone else have any coping mechanisms to share?
