Advocacy and Support for Individuals w/Autism and their Families
The good news is that the Chester County Courts have a Guardianship Packet that families can use to do the process without an attorney if they so choose. I found the process not terribly difficult but there were some stumbling blocks but the very nice ladies at the Clerk of Courts were kind enough to point me in the right direction once I explained that I was doing this without an attorney. Families can go to the Chester County Courts webpage and look up "forms" then Guardianship and download the forms. I needed to have the deposition from a qualified person (doctor) filled out and my doctor was happy to do that. I am happy to share my experiences with anyone who wants to hear more about the process. I am NOT an attorney and so I can't provide legal advice but I can share my experiences.

I have been meaning to do this for a while but I have been so busy it has been crazy. I have a few other things to share too. The Premise Alert System website is under construction and a lot will be available there too.
