Hi Ruma,
It does seem like services are everywhere but here. That is one of the challenges we are trying to overcome with Autism Child Care Connection. During the first three years, it has been difficult getting parents and caregivers of children with autism to attend our events. Since both me and my daughter are both from Coatesville, we wanted to do something here. The community has not yet realized what a great opportunity this would represent for so many. I am glad to hear that you are getting some help with child care. It is so important that you take care of yourself as well as your son. Stay tuned, we are planning a fesitval for the fall for the kids. Stay in touch.

Hi Ruma,
Welcome. One of our goals is to open an inclusive child care center for children of all abilities. We are striving for the goal and hopefully it will be in time to meet your needs. Do you mind sharing how old your son is? My grandson is 10 and his sisters are 7 and 4. They are all on the spectrum.
Have you found it very difficult to find a sitter? Do you have any relief at all?
Maybe we could plan a play date or even trade hours for child care. What do you think? In any event, take care and welcome.
Linda
