Autism Child Care Connection Network

Advocacy and Support for Individuals w/Autism and their Families

This is a great service the Autism Society was able to negotiate.  If you can take advantage of it, do so.  It is great for the kids to get out and experience movies in a sensory friendly environment.

Autism RibbonAMC Theatres (AMC) and the Autism Society have teamed up to bring families affected by autism and other disabilities a special opportunity to enjoy their favorite films in a safe and accepting environment on a monthly basis with the "Sensory Friendly Films" program.

This was such a great outing.  It was nice to see so many families take advantage of this special showing.  Everyone seemed to have a great time.  AND  I was so glad to have someone to go to the movies with to see RIO.  It's a cute movie.  Thanks for letting me go with you Nikki, Devin, Cyrus, Lola and Jasmine.  I really think I behaved myself pretty well.  I did want to get up and sing and dance.  Maybe next time.
