Neli Latson is a young man with PDD NOS, Autism.  Last year he was arrested by Virgina police under the suspicion of having a gun(no gun was ever found). Neli was arrested and has been in some form of custody ever since.

Lisa Alexander, Neli's mother, was a guest on my show last year and she shared with me the injustice that her son experienced that day--the racial epithets, the total disregard for Neli's rights and the lack of consideration for the fact that he has a documented disability. Lisa painfully recounted the details of his arrest and abusive treatment.
